If I was stranded on an island with no electronics, the only option I would have is to read books. My first choice would be a zombie book called Zom-B by Darren Shan; it’s a 12 book Series. I don’t know why I love Zombie Books, but it’s just the way it is. I chose Zom-B because it’s about a teenager who struggles in a world full of racism, zombies and darkness. Her father and teachers are racist, so if B-Smith helps a foreigner or colored person her own father wouldn’t accept her. At some points of the novel B-Smith feels like she has to be racist like her father, but most times when she does it, she feels bad about herself. Just like when her father told B-Smith to throw Tyler to the Zombies.

Zom-B Underground is the second book in the Series when B-Smith revives to consciousness unknowing that she is a Zombie at first. Then she finds out that she’s a Revived meaning that she’s a zombie who still has some of her human characteristics. She has feelings and thoughts in a zombie body. Later in the story she meets a gang of zombies called the Zom Heads. B-Smith and the Zom-heads are Reviveds that are used for experiments.

Zom-B City is the third one in the series, which I haven’t read yet and Zom-B Angels is the fourth One in the series, which is coming out on June 20th. As a conclusion, If I was stranded on an Island and I had to choose a series or a book, the Zom-B series would be my choice. What about you? – if you were stranded on an Island like me and you have to choose one book in the whole wide world, what would it be?
