Darren Shan is the number 1 children’s horror writer and if you read some of his books you would be able to see why.

The Thin Executioner came out in April 2010. It was originally inspired by The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and was based on a brutal yet fantastical world. The book probably has one main character called Jebel, the thin son of an executioner. He has to petition a fire god for invisibility so that he can save his father.

“The Thin Executioner” is one of the many disgusting stories Darren Shan has written. In fact, there are 46 published Darren Shan books including “The Saga of Darren Shan (Cirque du Freak)”, “The Demonata” and “The Saga of Larten Crepsley”.

Shan is in possession of thousands of films and collects original artwork. He enjoys reading books, taking long walks, watching football and listening to pop and rock music. The facts I’ve found probably show that Darren Shan is like us, except he has a really wrong, twisted imagination.
