At the end of Zom-B by Darren Shan events took an unexpected turn but in the sequel – Zom-B Underground - B isn’t going to let a little thing like having her heart ripped out and eaten stop her from trying to be a better person. However, it’s not always easy to decide who the real monsters are.

B may have a hole in her chest where her heart once was but that doesn’t prevent her from feeling sorry for the zombies when the scientists start their experiments.

Zom-B Underground is both grisly and thought-provoking. Better still, you don’t have too long to wait for the next book in the series – Zom-B City – as it is due out in March.
