• Courtown

    13 September 2020

During our staycation in Carlow last month, the Shan clan went on a day trip to Courtown in Wexford, primarily to visit a beach. It was a warmer day than the clouds in some of the photos suggest -- in fact it was so warm when the clouds parted that I wrapped myself under a towel at one point to protect myself from the sun! Well, I AM a half-vampire after all, so I can't be too careful... :-)

The beach was very nice, though for me it didn't compare with our local beach in Ballybunion in Kerry, which remains one of the loveliest beaches I've ever visited, even if the water is normally far too cold for me to actually swim in!! :-)
