“Why are people like that” she whimpered

Giving a faint shrug, Felicity moved to her seat and dropped her back into her seat. She wasn’t rather amused with having to hang around the school early in the morning, but she was a girl of principal so she would not complain. Straightening out her white dress, she brushed down any particles of dirt that may be clinging to the pristine fabric. Her outfit was rather sophisticated for that day.

“I love your dress it looks perfect on you” she grinned

“Thank you,” She responded, a smile that didn’t reach her eyes appearing on her lips. It was a natural mechanism for Felicity to keep her emotions under wrap, but she could be exceedingly harsh at times - it was just who she was. Flicking her hair over her shoulder, she pursed her lips as she tightened the plait and made sure that it wasn’t falling out.

Felicity looked over at a thin girl with long brunette hair, she had wired framed, circle glasses and braces. The girl fidgeted in her seat, pulling down the sleeves of her rainbow striped jumper while she stared down at a dark green binder that had ‘Save the Trees’ and a cartoon tree in tears upon the front. Yet, Felicity had never bothered to learn her name.

She opened the book, pulling out a pencil that had been made out of recycled parts and began to write in silence upon the page. It was unclear what she was writing down, but Felicity knew that it had to be something to do with the environment - most of her projects were tied into that subject in a way.

The peace of the classroom didn’t last long as the guy that had grabbed Mervil’s arm had walked into the classroom with his posse following him while they made loud, inappropriate comments about some of the older girls at the school. It made Felicity’s stomach churn with distaste for their group, they were, frankly, disgusting.

“Stop” Mervil yelled tears in her eyes ” we rant some objects. Women deserve respect!”

Ignoring her, the guy snickered to himself and glanced around the classroom at the people in there. Pointing out several of them, he scoffed to himself, laughing at them, “All the upper girls are cool but we have a yuki-onna, a covered up nerd, a tree hugger—”
He was cut off when the girl put her pencil down and shut her binder with a small frown on her face as she glowered at him. Narrowing her eyes at him, she rose to her feet and placed her hands down on the table, “I’m not a tree hugger, I’m an Environmental Activist!”
