Sasuko put her hand over Nakruo’s mouth and put a kunai to her throat. “Shut it dobe!” She growled.

She stared at her, her eyes narrowing at the feeling of the cold blade flush against her throat. But that wasn’t enough to convince her to be quiet, opting to make muffled noises of indignation at her instead.

“Idiot, shut up now before I pierce the skin on your neck.” She growled, pressing down harder but not enough to draw blood

Still she didn’t seem to understand the meaning of shut up. Naruko only seemed to make more muffled noises in response to the threat, kicking her legs.

“God damnit fine, we will go get you food, now be quiet.” She growled but she refused to move until Naruko had quieted down.

Almost immediately, Naruko fell silence, looking up at Sasuko with humour-filled eyes that twinkled. She knew that Sasuko would eventually break, but she didn’t know how she knew. They’d never met before. In fact, she hardly knew her.

Sasuko glared standing up and putting her kunai in her pouch. “Come on, we will go to ichiraku’s my treat.” She grumbled.

“Awesome!” Naruko cheered, having no clue what Ichiraku’s was. But it meant food and that was good enough for her simple mind. “You’re a little less mean.”

Sasuko sighed, holding her hand out to the idiot on the floor. “Come on Dobe, I don’t want to waste to long with this.” She grumbled, looking away.

“Okay, teme.” she chirped, skipping closer and taking her hand in her own. The word wasn’t one that she’d spoken before, yet it felt like a natural response. Something was very perplexing about this. She wouldn’t bother worrying over it now, though.

Sasuko smirked slightly. “Dobe.” She mumbled, dragging the blonde female towards the front door.

Allowing herself to be pulled along, Naruko’s smile split from ear-to-ear. She was just glad that she was going to get fed. The thought of food made her extremely happy.

Sasuko looked at her and then away in disguist. “Please stop being so happy Naruko.” She grumbled

“Why?” came the rather puzzled reply. Naruko tilted her head to the side, her eyes shifting to the left and then the right. “Is it a problem?” There was no understanding in her tone, she didn’t know if it was a problem, or not a problem. She was still learning.

“Around me it is, its kind of weird seeing someone so happy…....” She mumbled, not knowing how bad that sounded. “I…. mean… welll.. uh, just tone it down a little, people will think you are insane or just a plain idiot but they wouldn’t be wrong there no would they.”
