This is the first book of a twelve part series, it introduces the main character B who has a troubled home life. B life revolves around her fiends, each of them she has given a nickname. From the start of the book their are rumours of zombies but its over half way through before the action really starts.As this is book one you feel its setting the scene for the next book and you find yourself waiting for things to get going. That being said I enjoyed the book and will read the second in the series very shortly.
