This is the awaited sequel to Cirque Du Freak, in which Darren is turned into a half vampire. Darren struggles with his new identity and is also desperately trying to resist the temptation to do the one thing that will keep him alive, but scares him to death! He will meet many new friends, and of course, the Wolf Man is waiting ... Wow! Quite simply, wow! This is amazing. It has everything: humour, terror, compassion, good, evil, everything. This book is a masterpiece. This is a children's book that all adults should be given to read. It is completely addictive and just a pleasure to read. This series is one of the best I've ever read, children's or otherwise, and I for one cannot wait for the next instalment.
