I picked up a cold during the last week -- I think maybe when I got wet in the rain in London -- so I've been snuffling and snorting like a pig for the last few days. I hate colds!! I've been fighting it with echinacea and manuka honey, which definitely helps, but it's still a right royal pain! Oh well -- better than the purge, I suppose!!!!

I've been hard at work on the new blog -- almost halfway through already! The books in this series are shorter than any I've previously published -- a bit shorter than the books in the Vampire Mountain trilogy. I see this as my most unified series to date -- it's like one big book broken up into chapters. I know I've often said The Saga and Demonata are like single big works to me, but they each had their own story arcs and natural pauses. With this one the main storyline keeps moving forward the whole time. If it all works out, and my publishers share my vision for the series, I hope to release the books a bit quicker than normal, so I'll still be releasing roughly the same number of pages each year for roughly the same sort of price as my current works -- I'm always keen to provide good value for money!!
