I’ve been thinking of creating another Rp, in the Stories and rpg’s forum..But i can’t think of any ideas so far, :/
I would surely love to hear some ideas though, so that way; i can have people join into topics that they love.

I’m going to be typically blunt here- there are already plenty of RPGs littering the place, most of which are totally deserted and with the last of us (ie me) starting the next year of uni and are going to be busy. I would say hold off for the moment, give the other RPG’s a chance to take off (ok slightly biased there but what the heck, who said I can’t? :p) or are totally redundant and never going to get anyone new. Sorry but I can’t help being slightly biased here. :p
Well, maybe….learn from the mistakes of those that haven’t prospered? If I’m honest, I frequent the forum often enough to be able to partake in an RPG and i’ve thought about it on a few occasions but I haven’t seen one that caught my imagination enough. So I would say, don’t rush the idea’s (which you’re doing already by doing this :) ) Go with something a bit different. I would maybe think of a book you like and instead of trying to ‘redo’ the book as it were, pick out key features, locations, supernatural elements ect and keep them simple so people unfamiliar with the book can play along. Or maybe even mix up things from different book/tv/films. :) Hope this is the sort of thing you wanted to hear :)
i always hate the fact that once you get so far in an rpg, it’s hard for new people to join in…
so i think that you should have seperate threads for the joining and the role-playing
and it shouldn’t be something that is only for the “in” crowd (not that there is one here) or something that only your friends would know about/want to play
that’s just something that bothers me about some rp’s and so i just wanted to say that.
I guess i could wait a few more days.. then if i still want to do the whole rp thing, then i will. If not, then i’ll probably just forget about it, i am pretty busy with school lately as well, but i always tend to do my work later on than on some days..Really, i guess i could wait.

I’ll just keep on thinking about other ideas, while I’ll still have the ideas of the book’s you recommended that i tried.
Mostly its not the ideas that I don’t like with the RPGs on here. The ideas tend to be okay. Its just that noone seems to put enough effort into them in terms of presentation/post length/actual thought. So, yeah, I’d join if people made more of an effort as I tend to think that the players/characters make the plot, no matter how dull the premise is. If you have awesome characters, stuff will happen if you put them all together in some way.
But, yeah, it’s unlikely I’d join in on one unless people were making decent attempts at spelling/grammar and post length. :) As I point blank refuse to have to sit and try and decipher what people are meaning/saying in their posts, doubly so if I’m trying to role play with them.
I will admit, i hate people who only write one liners..If they have Writer’s block then i can perfectly understand that. But lately, i’ve been trying to improve my writing skills, and those type of people definetely don’t help much.
