I cried at those last words too! And at Mr Crepsley’s death :( I can’t wait for Birth of a Killer! So lucky you got to get it early!! >.<

Yes I feel incredibly lucky. I literally screamed when I got it. And so far it’s great I don’t think you guys will be dissapointed. I like can’t put it down (:

hey I finished book nine in a day maybe I can do that with the Saga of Larten Crepsley. I wonder how it will feel, knowing that he dies?

cuz it was the most dramatic thing to do. let the bad guy kill the good guy that was one of everyone’s fav caracters.. pure evil

I understand that it hooked the reader even further into the series, but, to be honest, I cried for nearly an hour :snake:

I cried for a long time too :( I loved his character so much

I cried pretty hard. for 2 reasons though, anger-it hurt when I smashed my hand in the wall/ Sad- Mr. C was AWESOME!
I understand better now why darren (author) killed him off, probably to get us excited about his Saga, &/or to show Darren growing up.

I was too shocked to cry.

I was just screaming “TAKE STEVE WITH YOU, LARTEN!”

Every death in these books were too shocking. Soo many twists in the plot, that my emotions couldn’t keep up. I spent time where i’d normally be crying, just trying to process everything. But it ended well. I now like to think Darren moved on to the Paradise where Crepsley, Paris, and others are.

it shows a good writer though, he got u to LOVE Crepsley so that it would be harder when he died.
