Interesting thread as I am contemplating taking archery up again! I shot at local level and came first in the under 16s division in a competition I was in when I was 14 ten years ago, wow!)
I always really enjoyed archery however a combination of a shoulder injury I picked up during a tournament and my GCSEs and A levels meant I gave it up. I’ve still got all of my arrows, bow, stabilizer, sight etc so I may well start up again!
You don’t need to use gloves you know, a standard finger tab is just fine, probably better for the flight path of your arrow as unless you have very smooth leather gloves the trajectory of the arrow will be thrown off by the resistance of your glove material.
