Hi Guys, just a little note about the advertising spammers that we’ve had an influx of recently.
If you see a post which has links or is breaking forum rules by advertising…
REPORT IT.
There’s a ‘report’ button on every single post, all you have to do is click it and it lets the moderators know something’s wrong. We get an email about it, and instantly, we can delete it for you.
If you REPLY to any advertising posts, then it makes our job so much harder because when I delete the advertising post, I then either have to delete your comments too, as it’s derailing the trhread off topic, or leave your posts, which make no sense anymore because the spam is gone! So… REPORT IT, DON’T REPLY TO IT.
This announcement also should cover the masses of swearing I’ve had to spend my time deleting/editing. Please don’t quote posts with swearing in either, because it means instead of having to edit their post, I then have to edit yours too and such… Making lots more work for me.
SWEARING IS AGAINST BOARD RULES. IF I SEE YOU DO IT, I’LL REPORT YOU. THEN YOU MIGHT GET BANNED. AND BEING BANNED IS BAD. :)
Also, I’ll edit your swearing out and replace it with embarrassing things like fluffy kittens or something. So just don’t do it. We’ll all be happier.
