Okay soo my friend and i are arguing if Steve really loves Annie or just used her and was all part of his sick plan!
i think since he was blinded with the urge to take revenge on Darren and used Annie…
what do u guys say?

I think at one point Steve loved Annie, but his sick desire for revenge made him go crazy, and he ended up using Annie in the end

I reckon there was a bit of love there, but the whole thing was to use Darius against Darren. In book 8 when 3 years past, that is when he goes back to their home town, bloods Darius and sets the theatre up. he had it all planned out.

I think he used her. I don’t think he loved her at all (well maybe a little bit, but not much). He had planned EVERYTHING out from the very start.
