Did anyone else guess Wester would die and somehow be made so that he never existed? I thought so cause if he weren’t in the CDF series he would have to die or something from the first book

I don’t think I would have guessed that he had killed Alicia if he hadn’t shown up in the cave to say Randal Chayne was in Paris. If he had let Larten find out next time he visited Paris, could have been a few months or years, then I don’t think I would have guessed he was the murderer.

I figured he would die just because he wasn’t in the Cirque series. However, I thought it would be in a fight with a vampaneze. I never expected Wester’s story to go the way it did. To me, while I expected him to die, the way he did was a big surprise to me.
