Why did Universal ruin the Cirque Du Freak’s reputation with their awful, terrible film version of a great, brilliant set of books?

The movie wasn’t good story-wise but I found it quite funny and people who are mad at the directors SERIOUSLY! Its never ever going to be like the books unless you want to sit in a theater for 6 hours be my guest.

yo’ve got a point there. no movie will be exactly the same as the books but it would have be nice if they’d have got some facts right. But for me, as a movie itself i like it, but obvs the books are way better.

I liked the movie but it wasn’t like the books at all so that was sad.

I know they totally ruined it. I don’t even want to see what they’d do to The Demonata if they made a movie.

I was kinda mad that in the movie they basically tell you who the Lord of the Vampaneze is going to be

I thought the movie was a poor interpretation of the book series, but I thought it was a good movie if you didn’t think of it as being like the books.

It just didn’t stick to the book, all 3 at once and what was with that horrible multi-coloured spider. Wasn’t realistic and what was with Steve revealing Darren was a vampire to his family? That was 9 films early. If you’re going to make a film, make sure it resembles the story in some way at least.

I still like the film, just wish it was more like the books.

i loved the movie when i saw it, of course, this was before i read the books!!! i saw the movie with my family and they thought it was okay. My brother came home with the and book and i was excited to read it. In the matter of 1 1/2 years i read all 12. I despised the movie, so horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No Sam, no Debbie, no RV!!!!!! Instead they put a dumb monkey-girl!!?? Even though what happened with most of them was pretty gory, still dont approve! This shanster was not happy!!
