Was Merlin the Wizard an inspiration for Beranabus?
First of all, they both have magical abilities, and I’ve heard somewhere that Merlin’s father was a demon and his mother was a Welsh princess.
Intention or coincidence?

I think both.
I’m sure Darren might have gathered a bit of inspirtation from him, but there is only one way to find out:
