Ok, there are 7 books in the series, and the 1st 3 were really quite thin. Why do you hate the Potter series? Cause if it is because of all the media hype then that is not good enough, and sure the 1st book isn’t brilliant but they get better as they go on and she develops and matures as a writer. Have you even bothered finding out more about the series other than what is now classed as just common knowledge? Have you seen the movies? If you have then I strongly reccomend you read the books as they are miles better and you acctually find out what half the story is (as the films cut so much, particularly in the later ones).

I really enjoy the Harry Potter series, I read the first book when it came out and continued on from there.
