An interesting question jordanrice. It’s difficult to pick. I eventually, after an hour of hesatation, went for the main character, Jebel. I adore all the characters really( even nadia) but Jebel is amazing. The way he changes. The way he quests and saves people. How he bargains so amazingly. He has to be the final choice! :P
Has to be Tel Hasani. Darren really does write Companion characters so incredibly. Look at Mr Crepsley and Dervish, everyone tends to feel most strongly for the main Characters main companion, sometimes more so than the main character themselves.
Gotta Be Tel Hesani Hes Like A Heroic Slave Who Saves Jebels Life Quite A Lot!
Without Tel, Jebel Would Be Toast Probably A Very Nice One If He Had Butter….
its hard to choose cause tel hesani is a good charavter and jebel at first is mean and only thinks of his self but he mellows out with their journy to meet the “fire god” the two characters i really hate is bush and blair they seam nice but later when we see them they r EVIL mwhaaahaaa X)
I dont know really… either Jebel or tel… because without tel hesani then Jebel would be his old ways and the way Jebel changed made me like him more.. I dont know!! :/
*edit* By the way you have wrote Jebel twice on the polls..
Does Master Blair count for Bush and Blair? Because I loved them both. Even though they were brutal, evil characters, and I hated them a lot, I loved them even more. They were hilarious and I loved how they spoke. They had a great death too ;-P!
I really felt for Tel, how he behaved throughout the book with such intelligence and poise , not to mention his obvious love for his family. Great character, I was so sad at the end, even though I knew it was coming.
I had to vote for Tel Hasani as he’s the person that made Jebel into what he was at the end of the book and of course all the other things that make him so awesome (:
