Yeah, I wrote out a rather long introduction for myself and then it said that the computer thought it might be spam. Which would make sense if not for the fact that it wasn’t and I can’t think why the computer might think it was. Huh.

Anyway, I’m the Poster Formerly Known As Munchkin’s boyfriend and the reason she changed her name. Munchkin is my revoltingly-cute-couple nickname for her and, like any good boyfriend, I got a bit jealous when you all referred to her as Munchkin. Yes, I’m a bit petty.

Obviously, she was where I found out about this place. Like I said, I had a long introduction that detailed my love of Darren Shan’s books and his influence on me and loads of other crap about myself but apparently it’s spam-like, so I can’t post it here. Also why does the spam filter make me go back to the “open a new topic” page instead of just allowing me to submit and tell me it will be moderated? Seems silly.

Right I am being ridiculously picky, but in your sig for your tropper page, shouldn’t it be An Ceathrú Marcach? At the minute it means The Four Horseman when I’d assume its The Fourth Horseman you’re looking for :P My current teacher is such a Grammar Nazi -.-

But seriously, if I had looked at that a week before the Christmas holidays I would have thought it was fine, and then we went over counting people and I realised I had failed miserably in the past and now its stuck in my head.

Gah, that blasted spam filter is doing it again! It’s stopping me posting the rest of my poems in the thread I started.

Well, welcome to the local, I hope you enjoy your stay :) Please feel free to look around, and have a good read over the board rules.

And yes, the spam filter even gets me form time-to-time and it drives me mad some days, but there is not much that can be done about it unless you have a really specific issue and in that case, myself, one of the other Mod’s (Deon, Leah, Rippedskin or Izzik) are able to help, and there’s always Pablo too.

I have to say the spam filter has never, ever gotten me. So I don’t really understand why it’s a problem unless you’re posting far too often/quickly… Try to make sure there’s at least a couple of minutes between posting things and it should get better.
