WE COULD BE HEROES! -- this is the opening statement for a debate I was involved in at the Edinburgh Book Festival, about the reason why I think we prefer heroes to villains.

ORIGINAL SHANVILLE HOME PAGE -- this is what Shanville first looked like when I put it online in March 2000! Except there was also a photo of a tarantula, thumbnails of the books covers, and the links worked!!!
