Slawter
is not for the
faint-hearted.
It's as gruesome
as any book
for children
could get away
with
being and sure
to be another
bestseller for
Darren Shan.
The Demonata
is part of
Shan's ten-book
series that
started with the
equally
disturbed
Lord Loss.
While they're
well written and
gripping books I
can't help
feeling that
they don't match
the appeal of
his first
series, the
12-book
Saga of
Darren Shan
series.
Sometimes the
horror seems to
be there just
for the sake of
it.
If you like a
laugh and a bit
of
blood then this
is for you. |
