USA - Dark Calling - first draft

 

This was the first draft for the cover of Dark Calling. At this early stage, they simply wanted to see what text would like on it, hence the use of the Death's Shadow title. We all loved this image, and from this point on it was simply a case of what colours we wanted to go with.
