This is the cover of paperback edition of Hell’s Horizon, the second book of The City, which was due to be released in the UK and Ireland in September 2009 under the name of D B Shan. When we decided to change my name to Darren Shan, that plan was tweaked, and the paperback came out in March 2010 under the name of Darren Shan, so this cover with the D B Shan name was never actually used.
