The Demonata

Notes:

This is the artist's second version for the cover for the UK/Ireland edition of Death's Shadow, Book 7 of The Demonata. My editor and I both felt this was a definite improvement -- you get much more of a sense of action, of the creature changing form in front of your eyes. But we weren't happy with the colour -- it looks like it's happening underwater -- and we thought the guts were a bit too neat looking. So we asked Mel Grant (the artist) to give it one more go -- we're so fussy!!!!!
